Welcome to Dr. Ben’s Kitchen, the most life-changing and entertaining cooking network in existence! I adhere to three basic principles in cooking: HEALTHY, GOURMET, and SIMPLE. I have spent the past 30 years perfecting the art of cooking restaurant-quality food with a minimal number of ingredients, minimal mess to clean up, and food you, your family, and your friends can feel good about eating.



I landed my first job in a restaurant as a teenager, which ultimately led to me studying at the Cornell School of Hotel Administration with aspirations of becoming a chef.
Although Cornell prepared me well to run a world-class restaurant, I decided to go to medical school after graduation. I spent the next eight years of my life studying and training to become a board-certified physician anesthesiologist.

Working in the operating room, I’ve never had a whole lot of free time, but I never lost my passion for cooking. I also gained a strong desire to promote health and wellness. Every now and again, I am able to indulge in my love of offshore fishing, bringing the freshest catch back to the kitchen.
It is my great pleasure to combine my education, occupation, life experiences, and love of adventure to bring you this truly one-of-a-kind cooking network.
